Course 1: Introduction to Floortime® for Parents

This course is designed for parents new to Floortime® who wish to learn about how this relationship-based, developmental approach can help them better support and nurture their child’s emotional growth.

The course consists of short presentations to introduce key Floortime concepts; lots of video examples to illustrate concepts in action; time for group discussion in a supportive environment.

Course includes two private Floortime sessions, for each family with the instructor. These informal play sessions with your child allow you to ask questions and practice Floortime with support.

Course 2: Floortime®

for Parents Intensive Support

This course is designed to enable parents and caregivers to hone their Floortime skills and to better understand and meet their child’s current needs.

This course is for parents who have taken Course 1 (Introduction to Floortime) and wish to dive more deeply into the Floortime approach.

The curriculum will be developed in response to the current needs of the individuals in the group and discussion will be shaped around participants’ experiences with their child. Sharing of video with the group is recommended but optional.
